After using virtualenv, pip-install and requirements.txt to do dependency management, I’m pretty happy to have seen this package pypi, although I’ve heard about it storing python libraries, it may have just improved python package management.
You just copy the file, do import pypi and it manages your dependencies. That’s pretty neat, I will definitely try it out later.
requirements.txt is more explicit and virtualenvs makes sure that you don’t clash with other dependencies, but this seems like it’d be great for small-scale projects
It should make it easier to hack something together with pypi, and being able to share it with others quickly!
